Roland Berger is one of the world's leading strategy consultancies, founded in Munich in 1967 and still headquartered there. In recent years it has moved hard into the battery economy, projecting that the sector will draw somewhere between 850 and 900 billion euros of investment across the value chain by 2035, and backing that conviction in March 2026 by acquiring the specialist battery-and-EV consultancy Alexec Consulting to deepen its technical bench.
